Lava – Kulturhuset

Lava is Kulturhuset Stadsteatern’s space for young culture with a library and workshops for everyone between 14 and 25 years old. Here you can create in different materials, get help with creative projects, exhibit your art or try being on stage. They have both a workshop and equipment on site as well as tools and instruments you can borrow. All ages are welcome to borrow Lava’s books and fanzines.

At Lava you can carry out your project

The vast majority of the projects and events are suggestions directly from Lava’s visitors. If you are between 14 and 25 years old and have an idea for something you want to do, you can contact Lava and get help planning and carrying out your project.

Do you want to arrange a film screening, debate, concert, dance battle, exhibition, workshop, theater performance, theme evening, poetry slam, fanzine, cosplay, podcast, performance or something else?

Lava’s workshops

https://kulturhusetstadsteatern.se/lavas-verkstader Lava’s workshops consist of the Screen Workshop, Video Workshop, Sound Workshop, DJ Workshop and an open workshop with materials and resources for your own creative creation. To create in Lava’s open rooms, you do not need a membership or other pre-registration. You get access to the bookable rooms after you have participated in a workshop or introduction. You book tickets for these on the website.
